Dear Unit Owners,
Hurricane Matthew has become a threat to the East Coast and potentially our area. Early indicators from the National Hurricane Center show Hurricane Mathew passing slightly East of our area. That is right now and that could change. This is a huge storm so we will certainly experience heavy rains and wind regardless.
While it is still early for Hurricane Models to predict how bad conditions will get, we are urging you now to take the necessary precautions in securing your units, removing outside furniture, securing your boats and closing your Hurricane Shutters.
Should conditions deteriorate we will be taking elevators out of service. It is still to early for us to make that call but if you depend on the elevator you should now start thinking about either stocking supplies or making arrangements to stay with family members or friends should our conditions worsen as we approach the weekend.
Please make sure Hurricane Shutters are closed, furniture on balconies brought in and that any loose flying objects placed inside.
Matthew appears right now to be an issue as we head into the weekend and the early part of next week.
We will continue to update you as more information becomes available.
Sincerely,
Stephan Kenny
